yeah was just chiming in and griping with Overfiend

I usually have most, if not every system - this time around I just have the xbox360 hooked up to the [main] TV.
Certainly game-wise it has been stellar. It's odd too as a lot of games have been announced/coming out shouting Saturn on XBLA
Castle Crashers is in a lot of ways the spiritual successor to Guardian Heroes [made me think of Three Dirty Dwarves too]
- I'd love a real remake/successor to GH though! Graphic update would help with todays TVs, to be sure
Duke Nukem 3D is coming this month to XBLA (!) which was excellent on the Saturn
- another great FPS (after Powerslave) for the 3dpad, also ties to...
Death Tank, probably my all-time #1 [local] multiplayer party game, only Guardian Heroes rivaled, followed by Bomberman
- all Saturn, nothing matched the multitap crazy home bliss, nor has, since
Of course other games too - I got SFPF2T (did I get that right? lol) and there are Genesis games on up (such as SoR2)
Even niche PSX games surprise - I enjoyed Culdcept a sleeper hit, Culdcept Saga was a nice update [DVD, not XBLA]
All in all its been a great GAME system first, for gamers - kudos to Wii for casual, and Sony for winning HDDVD format wars.
In the end though, I've been gaming since atari/intellivision on up, and I'll always look for the games on my gaming system.
This is the first generation I've really given my PC a bit of heave ho too (outside mmorpgs) - FPSs shine on it.
Gears, Call of Duty 4, HalfLife/Team Fortress, a little indie title named Halo3, GTA4, good stuff.
Only real absence has been a lack of action rpgs IMO, which was fun for the wife and I... and Gladius '2'. So it goes.
